Back-lit letters are also knows as reverse channel letters and sometimes are also called “halo lit" letters.

Normally fabricated from aluminum sheet metal, the sign elements are cut, cleaned and shaped with the cut elements powder coated and the final step being the installation of the LED modules to each individual letter or logos.

LED's are generally wrapped in its own special polymer jacket for protection which is more lightweight than neon and more flexible. Because of this, installation of LED signs is faster than its counterpart and LED's have zero hotspots.

LED lighting is installed inside 3-Dimensional lettering and projects back onto the wall on which the sign is placed providing a glow effect around the edges of each letter or logo, highlighting each in a colours of choice.

If colours other than the basic LED red, white, green, blue and amber are required, coloured film or acrylic can be placed on the back of the letting, between the lights and the wall.
